How to pay extra tax not deducted by company

Hello Experts,

MY problem islast year i've changed my company and while filling ITR for A.Y 2011-12, I've to pay Rs. 1500 tax to the govt but I e-filed my ITR without paying the tax. Now i want to clear the last year mess.

So, how to pay the last year tax. By doing some search, i've came to know i can fill e-chalan 280 on incometax site but falling low on knowledge and confidence without any guidance.

Please help and guide me ....

you have to pay tax and revised your return if not processed , if processed then send the challan to I tax office

Hi Ajay,

Thanx for such quick reply..Yes, i will pay the tax but one question Which year return you are refering ?? I've filed the ITR last year but i guess it wouldn;t have been processed due to non-payment of tax. Does this mean i've to file last year ITR again with my current year ITR ???
