How to file ITR when - Paying Rent and have 2 home loans for 2 other properties

ITR 294 views 1 replies

Dear All,

I'm living with my parents in Delhi and paying rent to them against my HRA.

Further, I've 2 home loans on 2 other properties - both remained vacant last year with no rent, hence notional rent should be applicable.

Property 1 is completely owned by me, while Property 2 is jointly owned by me and my wife.

I'm paying the complete EMI for Property1. Its home loan was taken in FY 18-19.

For Property 2, my wife pays the EMI and I did the pre-payment of 2 lacs last year. This home loan was taken in FY 21-22.

How can me and my wife file our ITR for availing adequate ITR exemptions.
