Hi All,

I have raised a bill to a client for example 55500 INR including 10.3% service tax but the client deducted the 2% TDS on the gross. Please help me how do i file service tax and what is the proceedure on it.

Please guide me with detailed understanding as i am not that comfortable with finacial jargons.

Thanks in advance.

You have to pay service tax to the credit of government @ 10.30 percent which is included in 55500
You will have to consider the TDS as cash receipt,to put in a very simple terms.
