Detailed steps are as follows: -

Visit www.mca.gov.in. There you can see 4 tabs of which one tab is "MCA21 Service Transformation Company". Click on Company.


On left side on the page, you can see Quick Links in which there is 4th option - "View Company Master Data & Index of Charges". Click on it.

Another webpage opens up. On left side of the page there is "View Company Master Data". Click on it. Enter Company Name and click on "Search". Don't use Pvt and Ltd instead write the name of Company or first two words in the name of the Company.

A director transfer his whole shares in 2007 to other 2 directors in pvt ltd company and gave his resignation in 2009. Can anyone provide the link to assure that he do not have any shares in the company. I hav annual return in form 20b which is showing this but is there any other link where i can see???????

There is no link for pvt. companies to check the shareholding except the form 20B alongwith list of shareholders, as it is an internal matter in the case of a pvt. company.
