How to cancel pan application

I have applied for new PAN card for my wife. I have mentioned the residential address to deliver the PAN card here. I have submitted the permanent address POA & POI. Now the application is pending with POA is not matching with the provided proof documents. I dont have any proof to submit for the current residence fore my wife. Is there any possibility to correct the PAN application to permanent address to proceed or if i need to cancel how to do that.? I have only gas connection in my name(not in my wife name) for the current residence address to submit. Need help.
