How the preparation must be for CPT Dec 2011

Hi Khushboo, Cover the study material atleast twice and solve the model papers....

I hope it'll be more than sufficient to score 140+........

DIS IS MY 2ND ATTMPT.......

LAST TIME I PREPARED NLY 1 MONTH N SCPRED 70........

SO I NEED SOME TIPS........

Well,here are some specific tips for you.

first make a target that you have to score 150+ marks.

now see what are your strong and weak points....

if you earlier left QA part,as many do,its the key cause of failure so just chose the easy chapters from QA and try to cover upto 30-40 marks syllabus from it,you can do statistics part which alone can fetch you more than 25 marks and other easy chapters.

The book of mercantile law is slimmest of all,here you've got a big opportunity to score big by reading it multiple times and understanding the provisions.

Cover all the topics in accounting and do as much practice as possible.

For ecomomics do concentrate upon micro part and do numerical problems and revise the whole book throughly.

lastly, try to solve the model papers without looking at answers, it'll help you develop confidence.

following all these I prepared just for 1.5 months and scored 151.... so you too can do it.

I M GUD IN STATISTICS SO WAT U THINK HOW MUCH SHOULD I PREPARE 4 MATHS......

MATHS IS QUIET HARD 4 ME............N ECO TOO.........

if you are good at statistics,then its good,just try to have command at few more easy chapters of mathematics,like ratios,percentage etc... for economics, macro is total theory,so it'll not pose much problem, micro part contains numerical problems which are based upon simple formulae, here you can improve by practicing more and more.

Preference should be given to Acc and law over Maths and stats...!!!!

i would like to know how to prepare for accounts as i was a science student and i don't have much time left..........pls help....................
