Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how small business owners, particularly retailers in village or city markets, can claim GST credit when purchasing low-value items like snacks or toiletries. The key requirement is to obtain a tax invoice for the purchase. If a retailer does not receive a tax invoice, they generally cannot claim the input tax credit for the GST paid on those specific items.
