I jointly own house property with my husband. we have sold the same. can the proceeds from the sale transferred to my singly held savings account.

Yes, provided the purchaser agrees to it; as he has to deduct TDS for both the sellers.
Is it necessary to open seperate capital gains account in scheduled bank
As such not required, unless you wish to get exemption u/s. 54 IT act, by purchase/construction of new house property.
