sir,
I am a salary person, I am taken home loan from SBI. The principal recover is Rs 148000/- + interest is Rs 480000/-.
Can I avail exemption in loan interest value and if yes, where I have to fill it in ITR -I to get the benefits.
please advise me

Yes you are eligible for deduction u/s 24 upto 200000 rs in this Financial Year. remaining will carry forward to next year i.e. 280000. under ITR you need to mentioned Housing loan interest under Income from house property head.
