There is a HUF (no. 1) with father as karta. The son has his own HUF (no. 2). Both have separate PANs. What will be the legal status of both HUFs if the karta of HUF no 1 dies? Will both HUFs be merged? or they will continue to remain separate entities?

If karta of huf no 1 dies then the second most senior member will be the karta and if both have separate PANs then the huf's will be remain seperate entities
Both HUF will remain seperate entities. Karta will be the senior male coparcener.
