Clause 149 states that at least one woman director shall be on the Board of such class or classes of companies as may be prescribed.

Clarfication/notification on classes of companies not declared as yet.

After its notified all companies falling under such class will have to appoint a woman director whether incorporated before or after this act come into force.

One more thing... from when it will be applicable for CA Exams..

ICAI will confirms the same once the bill becomes act,,

Once president signs and after published in gazetted it becomes act and ICAI will announce the same

As of now icai has provided ammendements for nov 2013 exams..please refer

And there is revision of syllabus which will be applicable from nov2014 onwards as below

In the same way we can expect shortly a notification from ICAI regarding companies bill
