Higherstudies in uk or elsewhere? the best? & requirements?

Hello all the Professionals, Here is my Query, Kindly give your best advice-

  • I have cleared my Chartered Accountants from the ICAI, in May, 2012. I am also a Commerce Graduate by correspondence studies.

  • I want to study MBA (in Finance) from one of the best Business School / University / College of United Kingdom (UK). I want to do those in regular. My age is 21+.

  • I don’t have any Professional Work Experience except my article-ship training as part of CA studies.

  • Further I have seen LSBF (London School of Business & Finance) ‘s brochure through Google Search engine and found courses like ACCA, CFA, CIMA with or without MBA/MIB/Msc(Fin)........I can’t decide what to do.......

Is it good? or is it good to study this along with MBA? Or is it good to study from elsewhere in UK, not from LSBF? Or is it better to study from any other country according to current trend? or something else is good as per your respected opinion?  Kindly reply. Thanks.

Hi Rahul Arora!

I studied for an MBA Degree in International Business at LSBF. I like this school, it gave really good knowledge. You can choose your course at https://www.lsbf.org.uk/programmes/masters/mba/lsbf-mba.html.

Hi Friends,

You may need to get some work experience before you can get admitted to a good MBA program. Consult the Official MBA Guide. It's a comprehensive free public service with more than 2,000 MBA programs listed worldwide. It publishes only official data provided by university administrators, without modifying or editing the data. The Official MBA Guide allows you to search for programs by location (US, Europe, Far East, etc.), by concentration (finance, marketing, aviation management, health management, accounting, etc.), by type of program (full-time, distance learning, part-time, executive, and accelerated), and by listing your own criteria and preferences to get a list of universities that satisfy your needs. Schools report their accreditation status, tuition cost, number of students, class sizes, program length, and a lot of other data. Schools provide data on entrance requirements, program costs, program characteristics, joint degrees, and much more. You can use the Guide to contact schools of your choice, examine their data, visit their web site, and send them pre applications. You can see lists of top 40 schools ranked by starting salaries of graduates, GMAT scores, and other criteria.

Thank you.
