hey is b.com compulsory or necessary for c.a ?? plz help ...

guys once you are a CA no one cares about your Bcom, Bsc or BBA degree, CA itself is a big thing. its just the fact that 99 % of the people doing CA are Bcom, no compulsion of any sort.

yes Bcom does give you the base for CA, but its no big deal. all that is required is persistent hard work and focus and you can do it.

HEY that is a humbug..... but 10+2 students must do b.com along with CA due to contingent nature of CA results. Later on if they get fed up with CA and plan to drop the course, they will have b.com in their side to help them in fetching any job.

B.com is not nessessary for pirsuing CA. Even students having just plus are clearing CA...

it is always advisable to complete the graduation along with ca.

Basic education is must. Moreover, bcom (hons) helps a lot in CA prepration.

yes, bcom is essential for getting ca certificate........moreover it is also essential if u want to do any other professional course without appearing for the foundation of said course....say cs,icwai,cfp.............for cfa, mba bcom or its equivalent degree is minimum qualification.........for going abroad u need atlest 16 years of board,university education and years of ca education is not counted dear............so as far for me it is very much essential to do bcom...u also wont get ca certificate before doing bcom.

there is no such requirement  for c.a but for the future it helps a lot as it counts another degree.........

moreover most of the ca students do the b.com along with ca/cs

Bcom is not mandatory for doin CA..if u r interested u can do..but it is not at all required..iam a CA and CWA..i dont hav BCom.
