No, There is No Relation of CA With Bcom......
There is no such requirement. You can complete your CA without doing your B. Com. But is is preferable and generally everyone does complete B. Com. even if you are doing CA

There is no requirement of doing B.Com but it is preferable to do with C.A
one question . can one appear for cat just on the basis of his CA degree alone . previously i used to think no but one post is saying one can appear and that too backed with proof. ( discussion 17522).
i am now quite confused , can someone clarify.
I have a Bsc(CA) computer application degree and i chose CA as my career. I have already cleared PCC.
I guess this should make things clear for you.
BCOM COMPLEMENTS CA. WHAT HIGHER LEVEL YOU STUDY IN CA , BCOM IS THE LOWER LEVEL.
SAY, CASHFLOW STATEMENTS OR AMALGAMATION.... YOU STUDY BASICS IN BCOM, HIGER LEVEL IN CA
IN BCOM 1ST TEAR THERE IS A TOPIC AS DEPARTMENTAL A/C.....
IN WHICH A SUB TOPIC IS MARKUP ACCOUNTS (CONSIDERED DIFFICULT).... AUTHORS INCLUDE THIS IN BCOM BOOKS BUT NO ONE TEACHES IT AND IT DOES NOT COME IN EXAMS BUT IN CA, THE FIRST LECTURE STARTS FROM THERE....
CONSIDER A TOPIC HAS 3 LEVELS... A B and C
A ELEMENTARY BCOM
B MIXED BUT STILL EASY CA
C HIGH LEVEL AND TOUGH CA
THERE IS NO COMPULSION WITH CA COURSE BUT STILL IT HELPS

NO. for cat you need a graduation under the format 10+2+3 or 10+2+4.... which means you have to study graduation for 3 or 4 years based upon your course
