HELP REQUIRED IN I.T. N S.M.

well ...from student's perspective...every chapter is irrelevant....and from icai's perspective , every single chapter is important.

i m also goin' to appear 4 group 2....and IT is givin' me trouble too.....

if you get command in first 4 chapter in IT then it will be really good...coz wastin' time in flow chart ( if it seems too much) is complete waste.....

in SM....EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER IS IMPORTANT.....selection of impotant topic can be lethal.....i think.

i m also in the same situation so....bhagwaan bachaye hame.......!!!!!

U cant do selective studies considering the fact the examiners are trying to make the question papers unpredictable.gone are the days where u could study so called important chapters and clear.but if u see the trend now,its advisable not to skip anything.i can quote an example from final exam nov2010.ch3 s supposed to be the biggest chapter in ISCA.but we were not tested much from it.U never know from which chapter they would ask questions.u cant complain even if they ask the entire questions from 3 or 4 chapters.Its my personal view.All the Best.

In I.T., u can focus primarily on 3rd & 4th chapter.............u can leave 2nd..........

In S.M., u should do these chapters firstly :-

3. Strategic Analyses

5. Formulation of Functional Strategy

7. Reaching Strategic Edge

( 1st one is also very easy)

 Atleast read these chapters twice-thrice from module than u will get confidence in it.

Atleast go thru the practice manual for each chapter... in SM

don't leave that...

IT... compiler is a must... do it... Flowcharts are imp...

though it is not advisable to do selective study but anyways.... there is very li'l time...

in IT i would say focus onl every chapter...during old portion 3 and 4 were impo chapter.......

but in new module 1st and 2nd chapter are revise..in wich case studies have been included..

so u cannot neglect 1st and 2nd chapter also...flowchart is very impo for 10 marks..

but my point of u go for 1st and 2nd chapter with case studies as it is new and expected in exams..

sm last 4 chapters are important...dat dosent mean first 3 are not
