Help needed please....

it is not neccessary that there will be good work of that firm as earlier friend said u should go there and first confirm from there about the work and attitude of professionalism there exist so that u can benefit of practical work experience and it is also considerable that if we have more experience durign the articleship its more benficial for us while we become chartered Accountant. Once u enter ur profession it practically not possible to learn because u have limited time limit and u have to do ur work within a time limit hence it should consider this time before becoming CA.

many are saying that to concentrate mainly on final to complete it in first attempt it doesn't mean practical work is neglected but very little

its not true .....because in a months if r going to take knowledge u will not be able to do it there might be chance u cal learn something theoretically practally not possible. And one mor ething i suggest i am also a final ca student and have going to complete my articleship but now i realised how much important practical work experience. Whenever i am going to audit me self treated as chartered but m not. So i think practical experience is also important. and durign the artcileship u can countinew ur reading and u may also be able to clear in frist attempt.

adding to this i would like to tell you that after qualifying you cannot ask any doubts... as you are expected to have practical knowledge and you have to handling the things independently.

and you feel embrased to that situation as you will be assisted with some article or paid assistant.

so as much as practical experience during this article stage that will be help even for your final subjects as you will be learning what you are going to read...

For EX: Compliance related filings, TDS issues, assessment issues....

so think...

its a misconception that its hard to complete final when you involve in practical experience, i.e., full time articles.

the first thing you need to understand is Chartered Accountancy is a professional course that merges theoretical knowledge with practical aspects.

your theoretical knowledge helps you to do the practical work and your practical knowledge will help you to understand certain topics in your academic syllabus like standards on auditing, accounting standards and taxation matters which will help you to understand the concept of the topics you need to study. they are inter-related.

once you are a qualified professional, you need to atleast have the idea how to approach to a practical issue and the way to communicate with your clients. you cannot expect to know all at a time. all you need now, is to allocate time to your articles and studies simultaneously. talk to your Principal about the office timings and plan out your study schedule.

you need to remember, there are rankers who have undergone articles and studied simultaneously
