Help me to understand the Tax Policies between a HealthTech Aggregator and a Doctor/Dentist

TDS 99 views 1 replies

My Company is a Dental Health Tech Startup, we will be having Dentists all across India. We are offering Appointment Services for Patients. A patient can book an appointment online for a specific Dentist. The Payment done by the patient will be received by the company and the amount will be displayed in the Dentist Earned Section. After the Dentist requests for the Payout, we will be sending The Bulk amount of all Appointments to his/her Bank Account. The Payment will be sent to Dentist Savings Account or Dentist Business Current Account

In short, Dentists are my vendors providing their Healthcare services to my customers and the company will be paying the dentists. Company income from Patients/Customers . Dentist income from the Company

Questions

1. I would like to know whether the company should pay TDS (considering Savings/Current Acc )?

2. If TDS is there which category for this kind of payment?

3. Do I have to pay GST for Company income although Healthcare services are exempt from GST?

4. What other Taxes I should pay?

Note : Here the Company refers to a Private Limited Company

Expecting a generous reply

While deducting tds there is no relevance of savings or current account. so dont consider that.

tds will be deductible under 194J

your services do not come under the definition of health care services as provided under gst law. so gst will be payable on your aggregator services.

i think there is no liability with respect to other taxes.
