CAN ANY ONE TELL ME HOW IT WILL BE BENEFICIAL FOR ME AS CA PE-2 STUDENT IF I DO E-LEARNING SERVICE TAX COURSE OF ICAI? THEY WILL NOT GIVE ANY CERTIFICATE THEN HOW IT WILL PROSPECTIVE?

I am working with Overseas Education Consultants. We receive commission from foreign universities in some cases we retain our commission as student on their behalf pays course fees to us and we pay to them. such commission received in india is exempted and foreign remittance is also exempted. Please guide. we receive commission only when student joins the college.

Sir/Madam,

I want to clarify one doubt regarding Service tax. M/s.ABC Pvt Ltd is incorporated in India and doing the job of Consultancy/Maintenance on behalf of a foreign company(Let M/s.KS Singapore Pte Ltd) .

Please tell whether Service tax will apply to M/s.ABC Pvt Ltd or Not

1.KS Singapore Pte Ltd has all clients in India.But it is doing the service to its clients through Indian Company(i.e.M/s.ABC Pvt Ltd).

2.All Invoices are raised by M/s.ABC Pvt Ltd on M/s.KS Singapore Pte. Ltd directly.

3.There is no direct contact between ABC Pvt Ltd & KS Singapore Pte. Ltd's Clients.But services are enjoyed by Indian Company(KS Singapore Pte Ltd's clients)and also doing by Indian Company.(ABC Pvt ltd)
