Hi Ankur,

You need 50% marks for pass the subject ; Eventhough, you got the exemption with 65 marks but still you need the 50% marks for clear the group, because 65 marks will be treated as 50% when you attempt the group in next session. Please keep this in your mind for the bright future.

Hi Ankur

Ur score must be at least 85 in aggregate from 2 papers with the condition that in no paper u should score less than 40 marks.65 marks will be carried forward as it is

stilll doubt both of ur views r different so plssssssssssssssss ....

hi mr deepak ..

r u sure abt this treatment?

you need to score total 50% including your exempt subject ..that is 150 (min 40 in other 2 subjects and total 85+65 =150).

Yes, Ankur, I am sure about this because I had been already faced this problem in ICWAI exams; Although, in your mark sheet, its shows 65 marks but at the time of computation of aggregate passing %, Institute treat as 50 marks. I m taking as example : -

Subjects              Marks

1). Accounts         65

2). MPM                 58

3). Income tax     32

4). I T                     52

Then, Now the next attempt your score should be 200 out of 400 and the accounts marks will be show in the mark sheet 65 but in scoring of aggregate, It will be treated only 50 marks.

I m really very sured about this.

Thanx

Mr. deepak is wrong & Mr. ankur is right
