Hi friends,
We are charging GST as per below for guest house room charges.
- Below 1000/- :- GST Nil
- Above 1000/- :- GST 12%
If we serve food for room guest, how much did i need to charge GST on food. please confirm

GST Rate All restaurants5% no ITC
Restaurants within hotels (room tariff <7,500- 5% without ITC)
Restaurants within hotels (room tariff >7,500 ) still 18% with ITC
Outdoor catering18% with ITC

Declared Room Tariff from Rs. 1000/- upto Rs. 2499/- : GST @ 12% [ITC Credit allowed]
NOTE : GST Rate is decided on the basis of Declared Room Tariff but the tax is chargeable only on the actual amount charged from the customer/ guest]
So you will charge the food serve in room 12% ( Its better to make One consolidate bill for room rent & food serve )
