GSTR Late fees refund

यह काम तो अभी भी हो रहा है। आज भी लोगो ने लाखो की फीस भर दी अब सरकार कहती है की भैया 500 रुपए तक लेट फीस है भर दो सारी रिटर्न जिसमे आपका टैक्स बन रहा है और अगर नही तो बिना लेट फीस के भर दो। ऐसा ही इन्होने कंपनी की एनुअल फाइलिंग में किया है। सरकार का उद्देश्य है भाई पहले डरा कर बसूलो ना मिले तो रियात दे कर बसूलो। ऐसे में जो डर जाता है वो लाखो की फीस दे जाता है और जो नही वो नोमिनल सी फीस देता है।

Try filing writ petition and put your case before High Court. It's injustice against honest taxpayers who paid the late fees and filed their returns.

The excess paid late fees would be recredited to the cash ledger. no need to file for refund separately

Rashmi Madam, for the late fees paid earlier.. i.e. prior to this temporary amendment in law taxpayer have paid late fees from July 2017 till February 2020 in case of delay in filing. govt won't give that refund and never it would be recredited to cash ledger.

Yes I agree the late fees paid for the July to Feb 2020 would not be repaid. as the notification 57/2020 provided the late fees cap up to Ra. 500 so the late fees paid for March to may returns between 25/06/2020 to 30/06/20202 where the portal had automatically calculated the late fees would be recredited in excess of Rs. 500
