Composition Delar has to file GSTR 4 Annual return Compulsory .
Hi!
GSTR-4 is annual return to be filed by assessees who have opted for composition scheme. Late fees is Rs. 50 per day to a maximum of 500 if there is no tax payable. otherwise can go upto 2000. As per the CGST Notification no.7/2022 dated 26th May 2022, the late fee has been waived for the delay in filing GSTR-4 for FY 2021-22, if it is filed between 1st May to 30th June 2022.
GSTR 4 is an annual return to be filed by every composition dealer.
The late filing fee is Rs. 50 per day up to a maximum of Rs.2,000.
Further, for the FY 2021-22, 30th June 2022 was the due date for filing of the return.
CBIC vide Notf. No 12/2022 - Central Tax dated 5th July 2022 has waived off the late filing fees upto 28th July 2022
