so what is a legal procedure for Gst registration?
You can take registration by filing application for GST registration online. For GST registration you will require following documents:
1) PAN and Aadhar
2) Mobile number and Email I'd
3) Passport Size photo of proprietor
4) Address proof such as Electricity Bill or Property/Municipal Tax receipt for place of business
5) Rent Agreement and Electricity Bill or property tax receipt on the name of owner (if place of business is taken on rent)
6) Cancel cheque.
The above list is for proprietorship firm. In case your entity is other than proprietorship then document list will change accordingly.
