Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies how to calculate the Net ITC for GST refunds when exporting goods without paying tax, particularly when using a Letter of Undertaking (LUT). Net ITC refers to the eligible input tax credit on inputs and input services during the relevant period, excluding blocked credits under Section 17(5) and amounts not reflected in GSTR 2A. It's confirmed that GST paid on courier charges for exports can be claimed as a refund.
Agree with Mr. Prasad Ji , Net ITC means ITC availed on Inputs (goods) & input services during the relevant period. It does not include any block ITC under Section 17(5) & ITC restricted only to the extent of invoices reflected in GSTR 2A.
