Fuel and alcohol are exempted from GST. This is to protect the revenue stream of the state govts.
I have booked a Renault Suv Duster and let me know whether i have to pay more since the new gst taxation is in effect from 1st july,2017
Prices of cars have generally reduced post GST. I don't think you will have to pay more. If at all, you should instead check with your dealership whether you are entitled to pay lower. If you do not get a satisfactory answer from them, you can tweet to the official Renault handle to get your answers.
