It will be decided on May 17 or 18
most probably the rate under gst shall be equal to current incidence of taxes applicable on product for e.g. a commodity with an excise duty rate of 12.5% and vat rate of say 6% total tax incidence being 18.5% be taxed under gst at 18% ..motor vehicles other than luxury cars may be taxed at 18% no clarity on cloth
