if you have commerce degree then you don't need to write an exam for certificate you just need to apply for GST PRACTITIONER
Exam is required only for those candidates who are registered under clause (b) of Rule 83

I applied for gst practioner in April 20118, finally i got today a certificate for a practitioner . My question is can i have to again appear for gst practitioners exam ? what is the period of certificate means renewable or life time ? I will be very happy to those who give a correct answer my query
