I am a proprietor with a turnover of more than Rs 4 cr/yr. I also have a rental income from commercial property which is LESS than Rs 20 L/ yr. Will the rent attract GST or not ?

Yes, liable for GST

Yes... GST atract for above said rental income.
T/O calculated your Proprietory business and Rental Income....
Not in separate calculation...
Sir, How should the GST return be filed for it. Will it be along with our business GST return ? And how should we raise the bill ?
File with your business transactions + rental income...

Raise invoice for Rental +GST....
Agree with the above answers.

Further you are liabile to deduct TDS under Income tax act as your rental income exceeds 180000

TDS ll be duductible from Tenants end if they are eligible...

Oops.. Sometimes my mind boggles.. :)
thanks for the correction
