Gst on rent on commercial property

I NEED A CLARIFICATION VERY URGENTLY. I AM A DIRECTOR IN A COMPANY AND I RECEIVE SALARY, BONUS AND DIVIDEND WHICH IS NOT COVERED UNDER GST.

I ALSO OWN A COMMERCIAL PROPERTY WHICH IS GIVEN ON RENT AND THE RENTAL INCOME FROM THE SAME EXCEEDS INR 20 LAKH.

DO I NEED TO REGISTER UNDER GST FOR THE RENTAL INCOME OR THE COMPANY TO WHOM PROPERTY IS RENTED WILL PAY GST ON RCM AND CLAIM THE CREDIT?

As your gross rental receipt exceeds 20 lakhs.......... its your liability to get registered under GST.
