Yes, that is input GST........ but when you sell you have to charge GST and take input credits of what you had paid (provided you are under regular scheme). GST is charged/added over each transactions on added value, and getting credits of earlier one.

The above discussion is for sellers....... not for customer. Customer has to pay GST only once at the time of purchase........ that too based on purchase price, if less than MRP. So, no need to pay GST again, relax.........
