Hello everyone......At present there is no sales tax or vat on cloth in maharashtra.....is there any chances of levy GST on cloth?....

Most likely on readymade garments & branded goods, but general cloth may be spared.
Gst will be levied from manufacturers to final consumer so definitely it will covered all textiles product except cotton

since it is not notified from exempted goods list and any other provision....hence it attracts gst unless notified by govt
