Gst number cancellation
My client was received show cause notice for cancellation & he cancel the GST Number .Now he need GST Number for tender. can he apply for new registration. His turn over is less than 20 Lakh.

Why has he cancelled the earlier registration? Are any tax dues pending therein? If yes, advised to file revocation of cancellation of earlier registration. Tax officers before approving new registrations check for any other earlier registration in same state.
If no tax dues pending of new registration, you may apply for new registration.
If no tax dues pending of new registration, you may apply for new registration.
