can we claim input tax credit on GST paid on Sodexo meal coupon service charges.please specify the same with some supportings.

ITC can be claimed on service charges..
As per section 17(5)(b) of CGST Act - Supply of food and beverages is ineligible..
The service charges by sodexo is commission in nature and not the consideration paid for food.. Hence, it is eligible..
