Gst input credit for a purchase made online?

ITC / Input 123 views 4 replies

Hello Everyone,

we are an apartment construction company (Partnership Firm), I found a particular product (Tap) on amazon cheap compared to wholesale market outside. But the vendor on amazon doesn't provide bill mentioning my company GST number instead he sends just the bill mentioning GST amounts.

So My question is Can i use this product in my construction and show bills in Firm expenditures and claim in input tax of GST. Please provide your valuable information.

Thanks

Yes you can claim but such ITC will be given subject to approval by Amazon.

Hello Rashmi,

Thanks for your valuable reply. As i see Amazon provides GST invoice for business only on few items. unfortunately the product i need is not in the list. So in this case amazon doesnt approve for input credit. can i still show the expenditure for IT returns filing as part of FIRM expenses Or it comes under personal expenses?

Please let me understand.

You can show it as FIRM expense.....
Until unless they upload the sales you can't claim the input.

but we can show it as expense
