Quick Summary
If your GST input and output claims recorded in your books are lower than what appears on the GST portal, it could impact your GSTR9 filing for FY 19-20. It's crucial to reconcile these figures by comparing your GST turnover with your book turnover month-by-month. Rectifying any discrepancies before filing your GSTR9 is essential for accurate reporting and ensures your income tax returns reflect correct sales data.

Hi Siva Ultimately both should be equal. There must be some supplies which are not recorded in books. Check GST TURNOVER & TURNOVER as per BOOKS OF ACCOUNTS monthwise and rectify before filing your GSTR 9. This exercise is really important for Reconciliation purpose. This will also assure you that whatever INCOME TAX RETURN FILED by you is having perfect data as far as SALES is concerned.

thank you v much sir
