I have a retail shop where i sell packed food like namkeen and mixtures which is taxable at different rate , if i open a pack to make customer taste the product can i take input of it or should i reverse the input

Credit of self consumed goods are not allowed, but you can still take the credit of tax paid on purchase of such goods.
