Can any one explain “Rental income received from residential house is exempt. But if you have given your unit to commercial enterprise, then it is taxable if you are getting more than Rs20 lakh as rent,” agreed what about if income received from business both are added up more the 20 lakh you have to pay GST or you have to pay gst ofr business income and no need to pay gst for rental income....

Correct.......

what about if income received from business both are added up more the 20 lakh you have to pay GST or you have to pay gst of business income and no need to pay gst for rental income....

ONCE you are registered trader...... you have to pay GST over all the taxable supplies........... business......... rental service...... and all other whatever it be.... whether aggregate exceed 20 lakhs or not !!!!!!!!

 

agreed, but if both the income are coming from different states then what

business is in gujarat and register under gst 

rental income comes from maharashtra state and not yet register under gst

same rules apply as you told....
