Hi, We live in a residential complex where we do not have any RWA established yet. The builder has appointed a service company to take care of the maintenance since last 3 years. There are 2 queries I have here:
a) Post introduction of GST we find that the service company imposes an 18% charge even over utility bills like common electricity bill, which already has a GST included and also on prices of diesel purchased for generator. Is that a valid way of charging?
b) In absence of an RWA, should the service company issue an invoice to every resident with billing itemization along with their GST details established? Currently they do not do so. However we make the payment via EFT or cheques only.
