GST Certificate Does Not Have Digital Signature

Our company has bee GST registered since 2 years. Recently one of the MNCs rejected our GST certificate saying it was not digitally signed (the green tick or orange question mark symbol). To my surprise it wasn't. The GST certificate that I download from the portal does not have digital signature. Since then I have made several calls, raised several complaints in the self serve GST portal and they have been unhelpful. They just resolve tickets without even understanding what I need (I have explained the issue in a way even a 5 year old child can understand).

Anybody faced a similar issue? Any help on getting this sorted? Thanks.

See, in cases where GSTN stands approved through system on the expiry of stipulated period, normally we do not see Digital sign on the GST certificate. But the key thing is that GSTN is still showing active on the portal and you have been an active GSTIN holder of certificate. Therefore I don't see any reason why the MNC should not accept the GST certificate as there is no provision in law to suggest that unless GST certificate does not bear the digital sign of approving authority it doesn't count.

Thanks, Abhishek, for your response. I have been searching for the reason the GST does not have a digital signature and couldn't find it. I have made numerous calls to the GST helpline and submitted tickets. Even they don't know, and I've had a horrific experience with them. .

This MNC not accepting the certificate, I know it’s a pity that these big companies have some red tape and want to follow that and wouldn't wake up and understand reality.

One question...is there a way to get it signed? Please advise.
