does an proprietorship concern need to go for GST audit if the turnover exceeds 2 cr but the goods are exempt goods.

Yes,.. GST audit is based on the turnover not on goods dealed

But definition of turnover do not include exempt goods

AS PER SECTION 2(6) : THE AGGREGATE TURNOVER INCLUDES EXEMPTED SUPPLIES ALSO.

KINDLY REFER THE ABOVE SECTION
