gratuity act

hi Ankita,

If an employee dies within 3 months his legal representative will not be eligible for  gratuity coz for calculation of gratuity , the rate of payment is for every completed year of service excess over 6 months,So, if he hasnt even completed 6 months how can you calculate the gratuity payable?
