Hi Richa,

Agree with u, that after passed ca we have to fight for government job by participate in competition exams..because icai is passed by parliament bill,,,,

I too agree. Its not like you pass CA and then you should get a govt. Job for granted. But its like there should be some jobs for which eligibility should be CA.

I am also agree with all you

Hello Richa, I would like to humbly disagree from your opinion. What's this craze for the govt job? The ICAI gives the qualified Chartered Accountants the power to start the profession. As a professional CA's in their limited capacity also help to generate employment in their firms. Other than this there are plently of jobs for CAs in Private Sector. I agree life in Private Companies are not as luxurious as Govt jobs where people get paid for sitting idle. But at the same time hard work in Private Sectors are bound to result in greater job satisfaction. If one only desires Govt jobs, he/she can opt to prepare for such jobs specifically. And in that case for him or her studying Ca for 4 years would be utter wastage in my opinion.

@ Abhishek...i believe there are already many govt jobs where the eligibility is a CA.

Infact not only govt, there are many private jobs also where the minimum eligibility is CA.

Agreed with everyone...jobs cant be given with so much ease and cant be taken for granted by a CA or for that matter any professional.

agreee but

we dont prefer-Govt Hospital,Govt Transport, Govt Airlines,Govt telecom Company etcccccccccccc thennnn   whyyy Govt Jobb ?????????????????????????????????????????

i agree with sir himanshu malhotra, but wat abt the future security of our job?????? after all the hardwork in passing ca exams, what will we get????? the more struggle n more competition.....wat abt the middle class students who do not hv such capital to invest to start their practice n even no such contacts....

bhoomi ka I agree with you. but do ya see any options? So have to struggle.

friends,

i agree ,for many govt jobs,min.qualification is ca.but they also req.min.experience(in years),or age limit,or competition with cs,cwa or mba(finance).

jab after become ca,itna struggle karna jaruri hai to ca cource itna vast aur tuff kyo?,passing % itna low kyo?

joy,

here i am talking about govt job only,b;couse, there are many average students, doing ca ,they could not qualify ca in 1st attemp or not even in 4 attempt.what is open for them?

private companies unke resume me interest nahi dikahati . in this case, govt should suport ca sudents and provide a job at min.3 to 4lakh pakage.yadi itna bhi nahi ho sakta to govt ko parliyament me pass kerne ki kya zarurat thi?

for govt jobs ICWA and MBA(Fin) students have equivalent value as compare to CA students, inspite of the fact that that these course are quite easier than CA.....its not fair for CA students

I believe Government Job is specially for them who dont want to work. Most of among us did very hard work for being CA. Dont be like a 60 year old man at the age when you have complete career before you...

@ Jitendra, You normally enter into a Governemnt company not only based on your degree but also you have to go through a lot of quality checks. We should not see that other courses are easier, because that window is also open for you. If you do a better course, you have better chances in your career, compared with those who have other qualification. By the way, you be sure, you can get the best in private companies and not in Governemnt Organisation. (I worked for one of the most presigious Governemnt company for more than a decade, and now with a pvt company for almost a year, professionally I am a CA, ICWA and MBA-Finance)

Fully agreed
