you could take leave of one day with appropriate valid reason. since attending exam is a for sure a valid reason, you will be granted leave. you may have to produce a letter to the person incharge as a general procedure along with a photo copy of ur hall ticket. and if you wish to take more than a day leave, in such case you will be asked to attend the sessions you missed in the next gmcs1 batch that will be held after yours.  and the compensation will be available only for 1 day of leave. that means totally the institute does not mind granting leave for 2 days, with condition to attend the next batch.
