As per latest provision, GMCS 1 should be done during 1st year of articled training and GMCS 2 after completion of 18 months of training but before completion of articled training.

GMCS before IPC examination is possible for students who took admission under "Direct Entry Scheme", as they can start their articled training before passing IPC Group 1. (This is applicable for Graduates/Post Graduates only and not for CWA/CS Inter candidates)

CPT & Direct Entry CWA/CS Inter route students cannot do so, as their articled training will start only after passing of IPC Group 1. Hence, they cannot do GMCS before IPC Exams.
