Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the tax implications of a father gifting money exceeding INR 50,000 to his children in a financial year. While gifts from relatives are generally not taxable, it's advisable to create a gift deed on stamp paper as proof, especially to comply with Section 56(2)(x) of tax laws. This ensures correct documentation for future tax filings, with specific reference to Haryana.

Hey, gifts received from relatives are not taxable.

It will be better if you get a gift deed made on a Rs.10 stamp paper as proof.
Exceptions of sec 56(2)((x)
this can be made.
