i am having loss in future & option for F.Y. 2011-12. so can i sett off the same with my Income from other source.

F&O is business , if you have business income then you cam set off.
TRADING IN DERIVATIVES ARE TREATED AS NON-SPECILTAIVE BUSINESS .....AND LOSS FROM SUCH CAN BE SET OFF AGAINST ANY INCOME OTHER THAN SALARY INCOME .........
can be setoff against pgbp
