why decline in TRADE INVESTMENTS is not deducted from current years profit in calculating average adjusted profits, for the purpose of calculating future maintainable profits?

What's the purpose of doing future maintainable profits...it is the profit estimated for future...so one cannot estimate/ascertain the up and downs of investments in the future as it is subjected to market conditions....

futur maintainable profits means certainity in generation of profits. those items only we should consider.

Fluctuation in the value of trade investments is uncertain nature. so speculation profit and losses will not consider for FMP.

Temporary decline is not considered. If there is permanent decline it should be deducted.
spectlation gain or loss should be consider while calculation of future maintainable profits
