Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) applies to freight costs for trading agricultural produce like soyabean and wheat. The consensus is that due to GST exemptions on the transportation of agricultural produce, RCM is not applicable in this scenario. Experts advise referring to GST law to avoid confusion.

Yes ,rcm is applicable and also you can't take credit of this rcm
Agreed with diwanshu
RCM is applicable

I am assuming soyabean is an agricultural produce and wheat is agricultural produce. GST is exempt on transportation of agricultural produce therefore no RCM.

Rest to all the other people replying to the query kindly read GST law and then reply otherwise don't reply. It creates unnecessary confusion in the mind of the querist.

You are absolutely right there is exemption for agricultural products so no RCM.
