Dear Friends,

1. What is the legal procedure to establish a franchise for Sweet shop?

2. what kinda TDS shall apply between the franchisor and franchisee (if any)?

3. If there is only sale of sweets by the franchisee person, will Service Tax apply for him for any reason?

absence of service will not attract service tax ..hence if only sale vat only applies

A franchise is a joint venture between a franchisor and a franchisee. The franchisor is the original business. It sells the right to use its name and idea.

If the Patent application fulfills the prescribed criteria for a Patent Registration, it will be granted by the Controller, published in the Official Gazette of the Patent Office India, and issue a Certificate for the Patent Registration to the Applicant.
