Formalities of dvat registration for sole proprietor

1.Can I take a residential flat on rent in delhi and conduct my business there? (basically for keeping my goods and nothing else)

-> Yes ! You can take Property on Rent to conduct business.

2.If yes then what documents are required for the purpose of Dvat registration in that property?(shop & establishment licenses etc.)

-> for Property as proof of Principal place of Business you need to arrange (Electricity Bill, Rent Agreement and NOC of Landlord)

3.can I also keep goods in my residence i.e ghaziabad?

-> for same you should be registered with UPVAT (as per my understanding)

4.Do vat inspectors demand bribe?If yes then how much and would they raise any issues for opening business in residential area?

-> Depend upon area to area and concern person, Average amt is 3000/-

5.How much time does it take for dvat registration?

-> Should not be more than Three days after arrangement of required documents
